Recap

We continue to improve Carbondeck and better respond to the needs of our users. With the November 2024 release, we are introducing more powerful and comprehensive tools in carbon management. Here are the highlights of this month:
This new feature accelerates your reporting process by enabling you to prepare your emissions data in both detailed and summary formats. You can now generate internationally compliant Audit Ready reports and concise Emission Summary reports with just one click—in English PDF format. With standardized and verifiable reporting, reaching your net zero goals is now simpler than ever.

Carbondeck now supports your renewable energy certificates (RECs). By uploading your REC data to the platform, you can calculate your Scope 2 emissions with market-based and location-based breakdowns.
Market-based: Calculates your carbon emissions as zero based on the renewable energy certificates of your chosen energy supplier.
Location-based: Based on the energy grid emission intensity of your region.
This update allows you to strengthen your renewable energy strategy with RECs while managing Scope 2 emissions more accurately and comprehensively.

This tool enables you to analyze your emission performance in more detail, allowing you to calculate emission intensities based on factors like revenue, number of employees, or production volume. By using graphs, data-driven visuals, and analyzing trends across selected time periods, you can optimize your emission management.
